ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assess child and family needs and plan appropriate therapeutic interventions,including but not limited to individual,family and group counseling,play therapy,and educational seminars.
Participate in multi-disciplinary treatment planning. Schedule and participate in all therapeutic activities
Along with the Program Director, continually monitor the program's progress, instituting new programs and interventions as appropriate.
Maintain files and records and prepare correspondence and reports as required.
Coordinate services and act as liaison with other providers such as day-care centers and schools.
Attend staff meetings,training sessions and workshops as assigned.
Participate in activities and other related duties.
Serve as a role model.
Perform Other Duties As Assigned.

Knowledge obtained through completion of a Bachelor's degree in education,early childhood education, counseling or related field.
Master's degree is preferred.
Experience in providing effective education, interventions and counseling to children.
Knowledge Obtained through attainment of certification as required by funding/licensing sources. (Demonstrable pursuit of certification with timetable for achievement is acceptable.)
Ability to apply organizational management skills. Ability to work and communicate with others.
Possess valid driver's license with clean driving record.
