ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Perform client document scanning nightly and upload documents to Welligent.
-Assist Care Coordinators to develop treatment plans that are coherent and reflective of client's progress and development.
-Perform hourly safety checks per protocol and complete maintenance tasks as directed.
-Maintain accurate and timely Incident Report & DAP notes. Document developments and important events in accordance with clinical policies for reporting and record keeping.
-Serve as a role model through positive, appropriate conduct and participation in special agency events. Project a good image to the public.
-Properly utilize all site-specific protocols including Shift Report, Overnight Checklist, policy & procedures, MAR forms and Medication Monitoring, Med Count and Bed Bug Procedure.
-Supervise monitoring of residents as needed, maintain structure and provide accountability to the residents.
-Respond to client crises and emergencies as needed.
-Participate in staff meetings, case conferences, and required training, as assigned, to ensure continuum and quality of care.
-Provide monitoring of clients while taking prescribed medication.
-Meet with supervisor on a regular basis.
-Dress in a professional manner.
-Participate in the support and training of other staff members and interns.
-Maintain DATIS files and complete Relias requirements in a timely fashion.
-Conduct property searches and urine screens as needed.
-Telephone On-call immediately to report unusual incidents.
-Follow program rules and schedules and seeking pre-approval for any unscheduled or unauthorized activities.
-Assist in daytime coverage as needed.
-Perform other duties as assigned by Program Director or designee.
-Demonstrated proficiency in Phoenix House's electronic health record system (Welligent) sufficient to fulfill the duties required by this position is expected within 30 days of employment.
-Demonstrate empathy and compassion for clients in group, individual counseling, and daily interactions.
-Maintain objectivity towards all clients and make clinical decisions based on accurate information.
-Maintain structure and accountability with clients effectively with appropriate frequency and clinical judgment and collaboration whenever possible.
-Demonstrate appropriate boundaries between self and clients.
-Promote self-help concept within program. Encourage clients to create their own solutions, and encourage clients to use each other for support.
-Play appropriate counseling role, serving as guide in the self-help recovery process.
-Track progress of clients utilizing effective direct communication, email, and clinical notation.
-Implement daily schedule of program activities. Monitor and facilitate program activities.
-Demonstrate understanding of clinical relevance of work and school.
-Work cooperatively with others and supervisors.
-Demonstrate patience and consideration in dealing with others.
-Demonstrate thoughtful decision-making.
-Work in a Trauma-informed manner when interacting with clients.
-Ensure client confidentiality in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Knowledge obtained through completion of a Bachelor Degree curriculum from an accredited institution preferred, or equivalent combination of knowledge and experience.
Attainment of certification/licensure as required by funding/regulatory sources (demonstrable pursuit of certification with timetable for achievement is acceptable.)

SCHEDULING NEEDS Weekend and/or holiday shifts may be required. Scheduled days and/or times may be adjusted to ensure 24/7 coverage of a residential facility.
Phoenix House requires background checks, drug testing, TB testing, verification of employment history, reference checks and possibly a medical exam, prior to employment.
